Cheesecake! Studio:
is a group of young Dutch amateur comic drawers and writers, which I joined in 2005. We produce our own manga/comics and try to sell them for fun at the bi-annual anime conventions and general comic conventions here in the Netherlands. It's a fantastic hobby if you want to improve your skills, see your work printed in an amazing final product and spend many all-nighters with your colleagues in an attempt to get it to the printshop in time. We have the most chaotic meetings, compete with our friendly rivals and get to go on these crazy roadtrips to conventions.
It's all very inspiring and motivating and loads of fun. Visit our site!

Zodiak Girls:
are a group of fantasy characters I made up in 2003, based on the astrological signs. They were an exercise in character design: I tried to give each of them a background and world that would fit the stereotypical descriptions of the zodiac personalities. There's no real epic story behind this universe, I often just use them as subjects for new style experiments.
In 2005 made a small comic with three of them, called 'Bloodflavoured Snow', which you can read in the Comics section. There are still plans for a longer story one day, but for now they're just practise subjects.
